Hand-painted Custom Ceramic Ornament

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ - All ornament orders placed in July of 2023, will ship by NOVEMBER 30, 2023 via USPS Priority Mail or UPS. All orders will be painted and shipped in the order they are received.

DETAILS:

Your paintings will come on 3 inch ceramic ball ornaments, completed with a specialty ribbon from my collection.

Each ornament will be boxed, perfect for gifting or storage for each holiday season.

ARTWORK REQUEST - You will be prompted to give your artwork request in the ordering process. If you have particular details you’d like painted on your ornament, please be specific. Otherwise, I’ll use my best artistic judgement when composing your ornament. If you want specific people, houses, dogs, etc. included on your ornament, reference photos are required. The same goes for a wedding monogram, business logo… PLEASE EMAIL DETAILS AND REFERENCE IMAGES TO RACHEL@STUDIOHALFMOON.COM with your order number after placing your order. You can also reply to your order confirmation email with your reference images (if applicable).

WHAT CAN GO ON YOUR ORNAMENT(S)?:

Artistically speaking, we can paint just about anything. In previous years, house portraits and pet portraits are most popular. If you would like to look at past illustrative work, visit @studio.halfmoon on Instagram. All illustrative and calligraphy work you’ll see there is done by hand, by Studio Half Moon.

Note on Portraits of People: people will be painted in a loose illustrative style. We find that ornaments with a maximum of three people work best. Also, candid photos tend to translate better then formal imagery with people all in a line :)

Another side note: If you ask us to paint 12 family members, 5 houses, and your last three dogs on one ornament, there may be an additional fee. If you have extensive, elaborate requests, we will notify you before painting your ornament and will invoice you for the additional artwork fee ($30-50) before painting your ornament. Most ornament requests will not incur this fee, but we do have to issue this disclaimer.
